KICKSTANDS UP!

Jackpot Poker Run was a great success thanks to all our sponsors, American Legion family, the American Legion Riders (ALR) and those that participated. We had an awesome turnout, great route, wonderful food and awesome weather. All in all, we had a wonderful time! Thank you all for your support.

With the proceeds raised from the poker run, Bob Fulkerson, ALR Department Director and a member of Post 113 ALR, will present a check to the National Commander, during the National Convention (26 Aug – 1 Sep 2011, in Minneapolis, MN), for the Legacy Scholarship Fund in the amount of $2,500.00, on behalf of ALR Post 113, E-town, KY. The Legacy Run is a five day ride prior to National Convention. The goal this year is to raise $450,000.00. All the money raised provides scholarships to children of soldiers that have died since 9/11.
